With over 32 years of executive-level corporate experience, Alan brings a calm, solutions-focused mindset and his signature dry sense of humour to the world of real estate. A trusted leader and natural problem-solver, he approaches every project with clarity, structure, and professionalism.

Alan transitioned into real estate in 2014, joining LukeAhead Property Management Services as a Principal Estate Agent and co-owner. He quickly found his stride, combining business strategy with property expertise to support clients in achieving their real estate goals.

Since relocating to Portugal’s Silver Coast in 2022, Alan has focused primarily on property sales and acquisitions, while also beginning to oversee selected renovation projects in collaboration with trusted contractors. He holds a Master Practitioner in Real Estate (MPRE) qualification and brings a thoughtful, organised approach to every aspect of the process.

Once again, he works alongside his wife, Samantha – who (he will happily admit) is the boss – as part of the team behind James West Real Estate. Together, they help clients navigate the Portuguese property market with insight, care, and just the right amount of banter.
